Mojgan Sheikhi was born in 1962 and has a degree in English translation. She started writing in 1983 with the story “The Golden-Tipped Nightingale and the Garden of Wishes”. Sheikhi has worked in both children’s and adult literature, and has published more than 150 books, some of which have been adapted for feature films. Her works in the field of children’s literature include “The Life of Prophet Yusuf”, “Summer and the White Goose”, “A Hand for Friendship”, “A Flower in the Land of Winters” and “365 Stories for 365 Days of the Year”.

مژگان شيخی متولد سال 1341 و دارای مدرک مترجمی زبان انگليسی است. وی از سال 63 كار نوشتن را با داستان «بلبل نوک طلا و باغ آرزوها» آغاز كرد. شیخی هم در زمينه ادبيات كودكان و هم ادبيات بزرگسالان فعاليت داشته است و تاكنون بيش از 150 عنوان از كتابهايش به چاپ رسيده است كه برخی از آنها برای فيلمهای سينمايی قرارگرفتهاند. از آثار او در زمينه ادبيات كودک میتوان به «زندگی حضرت يوسف»، «تابستان و غاز سفيد»، «دستی برای دوستی» و «گلی در سرزمين زمستانها» و «365 قصه برای 365 روز سال» اشاره کرد.
