“We stood in a bad place” is a novel that is narrated over a period of 10 years in the midst of the fire of political inflammation and depicts the emotional, social and cultural challenges of young people who are devoid of the passion for idealism. This work shows their way of life and intellectual evolution and is the exploration of a generation that is seemingly empty, futile and far from high political goals, but has its own biological ups and downs. Students regardless of the events in the capital who, although they have traces of political passion in them, but their lives are mainly influenced by other issues and are involved in their own turmoil and terrible crises.

«ما بد جایی ایستاده بودیم» رمانی است که در یک بازه ۱۰ ساله و در میانه آتش التهاب های سیاسی روایت می شود و چالش های عاطفی، اجتماعی و فرهنگی جوان هایی را به تصویر می کشد که از شور آرمان خواهی تهی اند.
این اثر نوع زندگی و تحول فکری آن ها را نشان میدهد و کاوش نسلی است که به ظاهر خالی، عبث و به دور از اهداف والای سیاسی اند اما زیر و زبرهای زیستی خود را دارند. دانشجوهایی فارغ از اتفاق های پایتخت که اگرچه رگه هایی از آن شور سیاسی را در خود دارند اما زندگی شان عمدتا تحت تأثیر مسئله های دیگری است و درگیر تلاطم ها و بحران های سهمگین خودشان هستند
